1) Promotion System

Employees are offered an opportunity to be promoted to a much higher position to pursue more advanced functions and vision regardless if he or she is qualified and has proven his or her ability to achieve given goals.
In addition, an employee who has shown outstanding competency, skills and performance can get an opportunity to demonstrate his or her talent as a fast tracker.

2) Evaluation System

We evaluate individual employees’ competency, skills and performance through a fair and rational system on a regular basis so that our employees can continue to improve their capabilities and performance consistently. Evaluation results are used as reference when considering promotion, placement, training and compensations for employees.

SK Innovation adopts the Management by Objective (MBO) evaluation system, focusing on communication with employees throughout the whole process from goal-setting to evaluation. With our coaching feedback program, employees can also pursue personal growth as they achieve performance at work.

SK Innovation helps individual employees’ to learn more advanced knowledge and skills by offering a training opportunity to attend professional training institutions or overseas seminars.
In-house training
programs
SK Innovation has a systemic in-house training system in which it offers competency-building opportunities such as problem-solving and leadership programs on each different growth level,as well as planning, finance, IT, marketing and R&D training program across a variety of functions.
About 80 in-house training programs are now up and running company-wide.
