The visitors were briefed about the R&D efforts of SK Energy, and toured the technology promotional center and the research lab. They also made a guided tour of the world-first Advanced Catalytic Olefins (ACO) which is used to produce catalytic olefins, GreenPol pilot plant designed to produce eco-friendly plastic using CO2, and the battery plant.

Joining the guests, President Koo Ja-Young explained that the company is now turning into a technology-based organization, adding that it drew up a mid and long-term plan to achieve the world’s best-class R&D.
